The project context is to support self-determination for users with intellectual disabilities living in co-housing environments through interaction with a tangible scheduling board. The Wall-I App is designed for caregivers or therapists to manage users’ schedules in a way that ensures safety while fostering autonomy.
The app includes three groups of functionalities:
- It mirrors users’ tangible schedules and visualizes key information (e.g., users’ activities, emotions, and dialogue logs with the agent), enabling caregivers to monitor situations in real time and intervene remotely when necessary.
- It supports caregivers to receive messages and notifications at different emergency levels.
- It provides long-term analytical statistics and configuration interfaces.
