Project description: The project requires to develop a plugin in QGIS for comparing thematic maps (classification and reference) to estimated accuracy metrics. The plugin should work as follows: compare classification and reference (either raster or shapefile), co-registering and resampling, if necessary, computation of the confusion matrix and accuracy metrics. The plugin could also be integrated with a comparison based on regression analysis through the following steps: co-registering and resampling, if necessary, comparing burned area proportion over grid with user defined cell size, plot scatter and estimate regression parameters (slope, intercept, RMSE, R2).
