This project encompasses the creation of a Python tool that allows the querying and basic data analysis of Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) layers. In particular we are interested in CORINE Land Cover 2018, Coastal Zones 2018, and Tree Cover Density 2018. As CLMS hosts their layers in ArcGIS MapServer (https://image.discomap.eea.europa.eu/arcgis/rest/services), we need a way to extract data and calculate summary statistics (min, max, average, etc), and an area histogram using the ArcGIS REST API.
